We live in a world that is constantly evolving. The conditions of the planet have been transformed and numerous government systems, including that of Mexico, have undergone important changes. Even some of the social paradigms that seemed immutable years ago seem obsolete today.
Topics such as the fight against climate change, the France Mobile Number List reduction of emissions or the empowerment of women have come to the table and are here to stay. People seem more concerned than ever about addressing these and other social and environmental causes… and they are willing to make and demand changes to achieve them.
The only thing that seems to remain intact is the law of survival of the fittest. Companies, organizations and world leaders must adapt to this new reality if they wish to remain relevant within it. To achieve this, they need to transform their vision, their behaviors and even their communication.
“Mexico is experiencing a process of change that forces companies to reflect, urgently, on the way in which they communicate with their collaborators, communities, investors, government officials and other key audiences. The Annual Meeting is a forum for communicators to reflect and share experiences that allow them to improve their work in their companies.”
Jorge Valencia, President of the AMCO.
Evolve in times of change: Mexican Association of Communicators
It is in this context that the Mexican Association of Communicators (AMCO) will have its 2019 Annual Meeting, under the theme Evolve in times of change . In it, more than 20 experts in different areas of communication will participate to discuss, and open the conversation, about the role and impact of company communication, within this society in the process of transformation.
The Annual Meeting of Communicators is the largest forum that AMCO has held since its founding, more than 45 years ago. It is a space to reflect and learn about current issues; aimed at strengthening the professional skills of all attendees.
Among this year's speakers, stand out Javier Treviño Cantú, Director of Public Policies at CCE, and Abel Hibert Sánchez, Head of Analysis and Innovation of the office of the presidency of the republic; who, together with Jorge Valencia, President of AMCO, will begin the day with a specialized dialogue to reflect on the current relationship between the government and the corporate sector.
Likewise, the AMCO 2019 Award will recognize the best business practices in order to promote the strategic nature of communication within organizations. The jury was made up of more than a dozen judges with extensive professional experience who evaluated communication campaigns and programs in 13 categories such as: communication plans, crisis communication, internal communication, external communication, single, periodical and printed publications, digital media, audiovisual, among others.
Panel: Corporate Social Responsibility
Among the simultaneous activities at the event, the Social Responsibility panel stands out. This will include the participation of different experts to talk about how CSR actions can create conditions for dialogue with the new society.
