Grupo Modelo has been characterized as a responsible company in each of the actions it carries out, since it has programs that make the beer company; a company truly committed to responsible alcohol consumption, youth employability, volunteering, road safety culture and actions in favor of the environment. Since 1998, the company has incorporated social responsibility practices into its operations with one goal in mind: uniting people for a better world. Every year, we have witnessed the progress in their initiatives, the results achieved and the new challenges that are imposed. Furthermore, the brewing company has 10 commandments to achieve results correctly, and has achieved this thanks to good management of the compliance area (integrity, transparency and anti-corruption). Area formed by a team of more than 20 people focused on ensuring that the company's employees and its suppliers comply with the code of good practices.
A few days ago, the Expansión site conducted an interview with Andrés Gutiérrez, vice president of Legal and Corporate Affairs at Grupo Modelo; where they highlight of great interest Jordan Mobile Number List to consumers to understand how the brewery remains among companies with better transparency and integrity policies, practices that have allowed them to save more than 3 million dollars a year. Grupo Modelo teaches you about transparency and anti-corruption Do you want to know what they answered in that interview? Below we rescue this complete interview from Expansión: EXPANSION : Why is it important for a company to be transparent and have integrity policies? Andrés Gutiérrez: I may sound like a broken record, because I say it many times, but more than a policy, it is a way of life. We believe that the only way for a business to be sustainable in the long term is to do things the right way, because when companies take the easy paths to achieve results, they become victims of that small success in the short term and go destroying itself along the way. Grupo Modelo, which is about to turn 100 years old, has positioned itself as an icon of a Mexican company committed to the country.
The arrival of AB InBev, which had a global anti-corruption policy, and which was interested in ensuring that operations continued to be totally transparent and in compliance with anti-corruption issues, was very much in line. E: Was a big part of the work adapting to AB InBev's global guidelines? AG: Part of it was adapting to global guidelines, but another part was more of creating a company regulation code. In other words, there are global standards with which the company has to comply, but we are, in terms of corruption, far above the legal standards. It is a code of conduct for the company itself that involves creating an entire control tower, having a team dedicated to this... It is living the anti-corruption culture, not just complying with the company's legal requirements. Thus, based on the global code, Grupo Modelo brought it to Mexico, because you have to adapt it to the culture and laws of the place where you are. And, in addition, we have a team dedicated 100% to these operations.
